First, the sugary spire isn’t shown at the beginning of the game. Defeating the purpose of the name “Sugary Spire”.
Second, painter doesn’t have anything to do with candy
Third, intros are meant so people can get the WHOLE plot of the game. Meaning this may become the full game.
Fourth, the paintings dont have anything to do with candy (excluding cotton town)
Fifth, THEY RUINED THE OLD IDLE ANIMATION >:(((((((
Also. I played the demo for the first time on 12/31/2024. Meaning i could tell you that painter had 2025 glasses for a brief moment in 1/1/2025.

1. it's a demo they'll show the damn building when the game is actually fucking finished
2. you enter the levels using his paintings like the wahoo man. i think he's important enough.
3. that's the plot of the demo, not the full game.
